General Overview of the Position:
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, as well as within a client and family centered care model, this position practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

The Registered Psychiatric Nurse functions as a member of the larger Complex Care Housing team and as a member of a designated multi-disciplinary team whose purpose is to ensure that persons with serious severe and persistent mental health problems, and/or problematic substance use and/or development disability issues who may or may not be in crisis have access to timely, responsive, evidence based treatment and clinical supports across the continuum of available services. The Registered Nurse provides assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and as required, urgent response to clients who may also have serious functional impairment in the domains of physical health and personal, family, financial, occupational, and social life. The Registered Nurse functions as a primary clinician utilizing a variety of specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients and/or their families.

Role and Responsibilities
1. Client Assessment and Planning
o Conducts comprehensive assessments by observing clients in various environments, consulting with relevant supports, and identifying needs, symptoms, and risk factors.
o Collaboratively develops and implements recovery-oriented care plans based on client goals, stage of change, and clinical best practices.
2. Clinical Services and Intervention
o Delivers a range of bio-psycho-social interventions including intake, orientation, crisis stabilization, individual/group counseling, and psychoeducation.
o Provides assertive outreach, emergency medication administration, and hospital admission facilitation when required.
o Offers consultation, education, and advocacy to clients, families, and community partners, enhancing access to appropriate resources and supports.
3. Case Management and Client Support
o Coordinates and provides support for mental health, substance use, and social determinants of health, including medication management, life skills, health promotion, and service navigation.
o Facilitates access to specialized services (e.g., forensic, developmental disability, brain injury) and assists with transitions between care levels, including discharge and follow-up.
4. Documentation and Quality Improvement
o Maintains accurate documentation and utilize EMR in accordance with clinical standards and organizational policies.
o Participates in data collection, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of outcome measures and practice enhancements.
5. Emergency and Risk Response
o Assesses and manages crisis situations using appropriate interventions, including suicide prevention, overdose response, first aid, and referrals to harm reduction services.
6. Program Support and Community Engagement
o Participates in call-out and on-call rotations to support residents and families in the Complex Care Housing program.
o Builds effective relationships with local service providers and promotes public awareness of mental health and substance use services.
7. Professional Development and Leadership
o Engages in ongoing learning and professional development to maintain clinical competence.
o Acts as a mentor/preceptor for new staff and students; supports orientation processes and provides feedback to leadership.
8. Other Duties

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience:
• Demonstrated extensive experience working with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit individuals, families, and communities in culturally safe and trauma-informed ways.
• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
• Two (2) years’ recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mobile/portable equipment. • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a human resource related position(s).

Working Conditions: Work is performed in the Surrounded by Cedar offices or remotely from home. We’re looking for a General Contractor to support our growing projects and ensure smooth operations on-site. This role is ideal for someone wanting to live remotely in one of the most beautiful parts of British Columbia. Responsibilities:
Assist in project planning, and execution
Oversee subcontractors and trades to ensure quality workmanship and efficiency
Work closely with the lead contractor to ensure projects stay on time and within budget
Assist with material ordering, logistics, and on-site coordination
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Troubleshoot construction challenges and provide practical solutions
Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and team members
Qualifications:
Proven experience in general contracting, construction management, or a related field
Strong knowledge of timber frame construction (or willingness to learn)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
Familiarity with BC building codes and regulations
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to changing site conditions
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
Heavy equipment and heavy trailer endorsement would be beneficial

Preferred Qualifications:
Red Seal or equivalent certification in carpentry or a related trade
Trade qualifications in any British Columbia Red Seal trade
Heavy Equipment Operator Certification
Heavy Trailer endorsement or Class 3 drivers license
CPD accredited Courses from CHBA or qualified institute
