Purchase and Vacancies at Arena Drive (Hudson’s Hope)

Métis Nation British Columbia is pleased to announce the purchase of properties at 10109 and 10113 Arena Drive in Hudson’s Hope to support the housing needs of the local Métis community. The 16 housing units, in a mix of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites, represent a significant step toward ensuring that all Métis people in Hudson’s Hope have a place to call home, fostering a sense of stability, security, and belonging.

We have also secured two lots in Hudson’s Hope. These lots present exciting opportunities for future development, including potential housing projects, food security initiatives, and cultural spaces. We will continue to work closely with the River of the Peace Métis Society President and Board Members in this work to expand access to affordable, safe, and culturally relevant housing and programs for community members.
