In Celebration and Recognition of the Personal & Professional Sacrifices Louis Riel made to the Metis People.

Hello,
My name is Tammy Meise and, I am a proud Metis woman reaching out on behalf of the Prince George Red Dress Non-profit society. I sit on the board as President.
We would like to personally invite the Metis Nation to this public event. We would like to also like to invite someone to be a guest speaker representing all Metis peoples as this issue effects the Metis people as well and would like to have representation for Metis peoples.

Métis Nation British Columbia is proud to honour and celebrate Indigenous Nurses Day on April 10, 2025. This year's theme is "Indigenous Nursing Transforming Practice." We recognize and uplift the vital contributions of Indigenous nurses, whose dedication, compassion and cultural knowledge make a profound difference in the health and wellness of our communities.

Join us on March 14th at 5pm (PST) for an opportunity to learn about wildfire and smoke risk, including resources and tips to help keep individuals and their families, friends, and communities stay safe during a wildfire event. Learn more about wildfire and smoke preparedness, risk reduction initiatives across B.C., and to connect with other community members on perspectives and experiences as it relates to our individual and collective wildfire risk and resilience.
