Dean Gladue Appointed Acting Vice President



At their April 20, 2026 meeting, the MNBC Board of Directors appointed Dean Gladue as Acting Vice President.

Dean is the Region 3 Director representing Thompson & Okanagan. He also holds the following portfolios:

  • Interim Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs

  • Minister of Sport and Active Living

  • Associate Minister of Rights

  • Senate Liaison

At the same meeting, the Board of Directors approved a resolution to call a virtual Special Metis Nation Governing Assembly (MNGA) for the purposes of discussing the by-election for the role of President.
