Métis men (18+) are invited to express their interest in attending a men’s healing gathering co-facilitated by Elder Tom McCallum, White Standing Buffalo.
Spaces are limited to 20 participants (travel and accommodation provided) with a lottery taking place to ensure regional representation. Submit this form by February 17.
This will be a welcoming and inclusive event for all men with intersecting identities, focusing on shared goals towards healing and gender-based violence prevention. Participate in ceremony, learn Métis teachings of wahkohtowin/kinship, tan hides, and discuss strategies for gender-based violence prevention.
Tâpahtiyim'sowin (humility) means showing and practicing cultural humility and cultural agility and being open to new ideas and recognizing the wisdom that surrounds us from others who carry experiences different than ours.
