Whether you're a high school student looking for the perfect college or simply curious about campus life, this event is the perfect opportunity for you to dive into the world of higher education.

About MY TRU

As an attendee, you will:
- Take part in guided tours through the beautiful campus and see firsthand what it’s like to be a student at TRU.
- Explore and engage with various faculties and programs such as nursing, trades, veterinary science and more!
- Learn about funding options and supports available for Métis students.
- Participate in hands-on workshops.
- Connect with Métis youth and TRU Indigenous alumni to get the inside scoop on what university life really entails.
- Experience cultural activities like the drum group and jigging and learn from Métis Elders.
- Get a real feel for the campus environment.
- Gather helpful resources to navigate your college journey.
- Network, connect, and see how post-secondary education is within your reach!
This event is for:
- MNBC Citizens and self-identifying Métis
- Between the ages of 15-30, living in BC
- Those interested in exploring post-secondary education at TRU
***Preference will be given to MNBC citizens living in Region 3 (Thompson Okanagan region).
