Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) in partnership with Indigenous Education at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) invite Métis youth to experience post-secondary education and Métis culture at the MY TRU Experience at TRU in Kamloops, BC. Join us on May 6th-7th for an epic experience!

Registration Process
- Upon registering for MY TRU experience, you are responsible for responding to all emails and communications from the event coordinators.
- All forms from MNBC must be completed in full.
- Before submitting your registration form, please check your schedule to confirm your availability for all event dates, including potential travel days (May 5).
- Please note: Submission of this form does not guarantee your acceptance to the event. A coordinator will contact you to confirm your acceptance and provide further details.
Travel and Accommodation
Travel and accommodation will be provided by MNBC for Métis youth.
Please ensure that the information on the form below is complete, and that your travel and accommodation preferences are clearly stated. Once your registration form has been submitted, you will be contacted by the coordinator to make travel arrangements. You must be available to travel on May 5th, 2025.
Travel will be booked in the most cost-effective and efficient manner and rooms will be double occupancy. Once travel has been purchased, it cannot be cancelled, refunded or transferred to another person. As we want to offer this opportunity to as many Métis youth as possible, it is important to understand that once your registration has been accepted and confirmed, you must attend.
Additional Information
· For participants travelling by car, only the driver will be paid the mileage reimbursement.
· Participants will be financially responsible for any fees due to flight changes or cancellation.
· For participants travelling by plane, you MUST HAVE (1) piece of valid photo ID in order to board the plane. (Example: A driver's license or passport)
