About The Project

Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC), in partnership with North Island Métis Association (NIMA), plans a six-storey apartment building with community amenity space and adjacent childcare centre at 11-47 Dogwood Street, Campbell River. This convenient location is near desired amenities and services on a transit corridor.

Mixed-use building: 45 new purpose-built rental units in a range of accessible 1-bedroom to 3-bedroom units, residential amenity space, plus office and cultural space for NIMA.

The Early Years Learning Center will provide 61 culturally relevant child care spaces for Métis, First Nations, and Inuit children and families united by a commitment to reconciliation in Campbell River and surrounding areas.

This project is located on the traditional territory of the Liǧwiłdax̌w First Nations.
