In partnership with the Columbia Valley Métis Association and Interior Health Authority, MNBC's Health and Wellness event is a free weekend event at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort

 Join us on March 9th for a women's gathering, as we explore women's issues and traditional Metis Culture. This day is only open to women, 2-Spirit and enby individuals. 

Establishing Safe, Caring, & Respectful Digital Communities Sessions

In support of the Government of BC’s recent announcement on keeping kids safe online and in school. MNBC encourages Métis parents and caregivers to do their part and participate in the offered online training from ERASE (Expect Respect & A Safe Education) and SST (Safer Schools Together).

This engagement is to discuss the outline of Indigenous Services Canada’s (ISC) proposed approach to reflect perspectives raised by Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) on how the Federal Act (C-92) will be implemented and best operationalized for Métis children, youth, and families in addition to other Indigenous partners. Governance Engagement Mechanisms, (GEMs) are ISC’s proposed framework through which Opikinawasowin, (Growing Métis Children), discussions will occur.
