Establishing Safe, Caring, & Respectful Digital Communities Sessions

In support of the Government of BC’s recent announcement on keeping kids safe online and in school. MNBC encourages Métis parents and caregivers to do their part and participate in the offered online training from ERASE (Expect Respect & A Safe Education) and SST (Safer Schools Together).

This 60-minute session, Establishing Safe, Caring, & Respectful Digital Communities is designed to support parents, caregivers, and youth aged ten and up in navigating the digital world. The training covers all things digital, including how to be a good digital citizen, the criminal consequences of cyberbullying, how to report and get support in cases of sextortion, and much more. 

Upcoming training is on February 7, 2024 or February 28, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
