2025 Annual General Meeting

This is MNBC’s most important governance event of the year. It is an opportunity for Citizens to gather as a community and vote on resolutions to guide the direction of MNBC.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place September 19-21, 2025 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, 7551 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, B.C. and online via Zoom.

To vote on resolutions, you must be a verified MNBC Citizen 18 years of age or older but all ages are welcome to attend.

Schedule of Events

Here are some of the things you can look forward to.

Business Meeting: Listen to presentations and vote on resolutions.
Trade Show: Check out work by Métis artisans and stop by tables sharing resources and information about MNBC programs and services.
Health Fair: Enjoy a full lineup of wellness offerings including diabetes, blood pressure, and cancer screenings, a hearing clinic, massages, cultural activities like medicine bag making, and daily morning walks with the Ministry of Health & Wellness! Health authority partners will also share their efforts to improve service delivery and recruitment across the province.

AGM Banquet

We're pleased to offer an opportunity for registered Citizen AGM attendees to purchase tickets to the banquet at 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 20. Tickets are $50 and include entertainment by Jason Lepine and the Métis Spirit Band and V'ni Dansi, a meal, and non-alcoholic drinks.

MNBC Citizens Attending In Person

When you arrive at the AGM, you will need to check in at the registration table and show staff your MNBC Citizenship card. To help us plan for meals, we would appreciate if you could fill out the form linked below.

MNBC Citizens Attending Online

If you would like to attend virtually, please register via the form below. The form will ask for your MNBC Citizenship number so that staff can verify your eligibility and send you a Zoom link.

Voting

The AGM is a governance event and eligible Citizens 18 years of age and older can vote on resolutions to help guide the direction of MNBC. The voting process will look slightly different whether you’re attending online via Zoom or in person.

Please stop by the registration table and show staff your MNBC Citizenship card on the first day you attend. Once verified, you will receive a coloured lanyard and name tag to wear throughout the AGM.
Each day you attend, you will need to stop by the Community Engagement table to receive your electronic voting device. Remember to return the device before you leave the venue at the end of the day (successfully returning your device = one entry into a draw for BC Lions tickets)!
Please note that travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the participant when attending in person.

Once staff have verified your eligibility, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom with the link to join the AGM. MNBC will also send reminders to confirmed participants. YouTube Livestream

Although everyone can watch the AGM on our YouTube livestream, only MNBC Citizens are eligible to join and vote via the Zoom link (please see instructions on how to attend and participate virtually above).
