Revenue Technician
$64,123.59 - $72,674.35 annually
The Ministry of Forests is responsible for the stewardship of provincial Crown land and ensures the sustainable management of forest, wildlife, water and other land-based resources. The Ministry works with Indigenous and rural communities to strengthen and diversify their economies.
The role of the Revenue Technician is to lead the district appraisal program and support cruising, waste and residue assessments. The incumbent will provide a range of technical evaluation and advisory services to support decisions on the use of natural resources and the achievement of resource management objectives. This role is part of a dynamic and results-focused team with opportunities for professional development and skill building. This role will have both office and field duties.

Qualifications for this role include:
• Diploma or Degree in a natural resource field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registered or eligible for immediate registration as a RFT or RPF with the Association of BC Forest Professionals.
• *Note: *Eligible for immediate registration" is defined as being able to immediately transfer a current membership from an applicable jurisdiction to the appropriate association. Confirmation of registration/ eligibility will be required before an offer of employment can be confirmed. If you are not currently registered, advise how you have confirmed with the applicable BC association that you are immediately eligible.
