Health Promotion Specialist, Cancer - #25-133

About the Opportunity

The Métis Health Promotion Specialist – Cancer is responsible for evaluating and supporting the delivery of MNBC’s cancer prevention and screening initiatives, including Nâcinîhikêwin (Health Promotion Program), and other cancer-related health promotion work. This role ensures that programs are evidence-informed, culturally appropriate, and grounded in the values and needs of Métis communities.

This role emphasizes evaluation, planning, and continuous quality improvement to strengthen program outcomes and ensure accountability to both community needs and funding partners. While the role collaborates with internal teams and external health system stakeholders, it is primarily focused on strategy, evaluation, and program refinement — rather than frontline community coordination
