Established in 2019, Marmot Builders Ltd. is a Northern BC-based construction company committed to delivering quality projects and creating lasting value in the communities it serves. Owned and operated by Northern BC locals Jonathan Burkholder and Preston Aitchison, Marmot brings extensive experience from both local and multinational construction firms, allowing the company to successfully deliver complex and large-scale projects. Marmot is dedicated to supporting Northern BC through local employment, procurement, and partnerships with local businesses, skilled tradespeople, Indigenous partners, and communities. Preston’s Métis heritage further strengthens the company’s connection to the region.
