KLE is an indigenous owned company that provides wildlife monitoring services to large scale projects. We hire and train suitable Wildlife Monitors that are considered regional experts that are familiar with terrain, access, and wildlife behaviour across BC. Our team consists mainly of indigenous members drawn from this local expertise. We work with our Indigenous partners throughout BC building careers within our Wildlife Monitoring program and our team at KL Environmental.
Safety:
We are industry ready and are up to speed on all safety regulations and requirements including COR, ISN and Ariba network.

Training:
Our UNBC Wildlife Monitoring certified staff are capable of safely managing risk of wildlife encounters in the field such as bears, cougars, moose and elk etc. We offer initial and ongoing assessment training and competency verification within our
program such as firearms handling, bear spray handling, UTV operations, trailering, and provincial reporting guidelines.
Assessments:
Our program offers an integrated Wildlife Hazard Assessment tool that helps determine risk in area given a multitude of factors. This assessment helps clients determine what is necessary for work to be conducted safely and can help manage
wildlife encounters through planning and site specific mitigation strategies.
