Bell's Bows and Violins

Following the Métis culture I make violins and bows for all the string instruments. In partnering with a Métis artist we have built violins which have Métis specific art work on playable violins.

I make bows with South American wood, lpea, and make the frog out of bison horn and the tip and the tightening button out of moose antler. The sliding strip on the bottom of the frog is also made out of antler.
I have often received violins which were in throw a way condition and turned them into fine playing violins.
