Overview

Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) first launched the Métis Counselling Connection (MCC) program on February 17th, 2021. The MCC program provides financial assistance to MNBC Citizens to access counselling and clinical services. The goal of the program is to increase Métis Citizens’ mental health and wellness. Services are available to individuals, couples, and families. MNBC works with your service provider to arrange direct billing. MNBC Citizens will not be expected to pay out of pocket.

College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC)

BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)

British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW)

British Columbia Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (BCAMFT)
Physician Referral to see a Psychiatrist through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC)
Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA)
Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT)

Applicant Eligibility
Must be a MNBC Citizen registered within the MNBC Central Registry and currently residing in British Columbia.
This program is available to all ages.
Priority will be given to new applicants.
