Join us in celebrating the success of the CervixCheck Program and empowering health awareness! We will have workshops and classes, a trade fair and a keynote speech from the BC Cancer team. This is an open invitation to folks in Region 7. The event will take place at the Pomeroy Conference Centre in Fort St John.  

Métis Discussions about Dignity in Death and Dying

Coming together to understand Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) for Citizens in Regions 3 and 4.
 
Join us in this safe and supportive space where we'll explore what Medical Assistance in Dying is and what it is not. This complex topic will be approached with dignity and respect, and Métis culture will be woven through the conversations. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, the event will be limited to 20 individuals. Travel, food, and accommodation will be covered for attendees.

Health and Wellness Days Columbia Valley

In partnership with the Columbia Valley Métis Association and Interior Health Authority, MNBC's Health and Wellness event is a free weekend event at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort 

When: March 9th & 10th 2024

 Join us on March 9th for a women's gathering, as we explore women's issues and traditional Metis Culture. This day is only open to women, 2-Spirit and enby individuals. 

Métis Health Experience Program

About the Program

Navigating the health care system can often be overwhelming, especially if you or someone you know is facing health challenges. The Métis Health Experience Program assists Métis individuals, families, and communities across BC to navigate the healthcare feedback process. The program provides a safe space for Métis-led conversations around all types of health experiences and advocates for change, through story sharing and ensuring Métis are being represented in health.
