Business Description
The North Fraser Métis Association (NFMA) is a non-profit Indigenous organization dedicated to supporting our community through culture, connection, and practical solutions to today’s challenges. One of our core initiatives is the Hydroponic Garden Shed project, which provides year-round access to fresh, healthy produce using sustainable, soil-free growing technology.
Our hydroponic sheds are compact, efficient, and fully equipped with growing racks, LED lighting, and nutrient delivery systems. This design allows us to grow a wide variety of vegetables in a controlled environment, reducing reliance on costly grocery chains and ensuring consistent access to nutritious food. The sheds are ideal for urban and community spaces where traditional farmland is not available.
