The Kamloops Rural Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) team is a welcoming and collaborative group of professionals dedicated to supporting the mental health of children, youth and families in the rural areas surrounding Kamloops. A full team includes six (6) experienced Clinicians, one Support Worker, and a Team Leader, all working together to serve a large and diverse geographic region. Partnering closely with local schools, Ministry Social Workers, and community agencies, the team plays a vital role in improving access to mental health resources for remote communities.

The Child & Youth Mental Health team offers a supportive environment where collaboration thrives. With a mix of experienced clinicians and support workers, this cohesive team provides quality mental health services, working collaboratively alongside social workers, psychiatrists, local non-profits and community partners to make a real difference. Our team is friendly, welcoming, and committed to reducing mental health challenges while empowering youth, families, and caregivers with the care they deserve.
As a CYMH Clinician, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients, families and the community by facilitating individual, family and group mental health treatment. You'll work closely with your team, team leaders and local partners to reduce mental health concerns and support mental health service projects.
