• Is this a new protocol from the Ministry of Citizenship?

  Yes, this is a new protocol aimed at building on the integrity of MNBC's Citizenship Registry. The Ministry of Citizenship has heard the Chartered Communities and has created this protocol so that in times of loss the process is as easy as possible.

• What is the reasoning for this protocol?

  The objective of this protocol is to verify the death of a citizen and to maintain the integrity of the Citizenship Registry, eliminating the possibility for errors while balancing kindness and respect for the next of kin or person reporting the death.

• Why do you need proof?

  Proof is required to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Citizenship Registry. In order to make this process as easy as possible in times of loss all the information needed can be found on this page.

• What is proof?

  We will require a copy of the death certificate from Vital Statistics, the name of the person reporting the death and their relationship to the citizen.

  Anyone can request this information from Vital Statistics Here

   

• Who can notify Citizenship?

  Once you obtain the death certificate of a citizen, anyone can notify citizenship.

• How do we notify the Ministry of Citizenship?
