This engagement is to discuss the outline of Indigenous Services Canada’s (ISC) proposed approach to reflect perspectives raised by Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) on how the Federal Act (C-92) will be implemented and best operationalized for Métis children, youth, and families in addition to other Indigenous partners. Governance Engagement Mechanisms, (GEMs) are ISC’s proposed framework through which Opikinawasowin, (Growing Métis Children), discussions will occur.

For those unable to attend any of the in-person engagement sessions but would still like to share their thoughts and experiences we invite you to complete a survey. 

The feedback provided from this survey will be used to support the work advocating for Métis children and families and developing a comprehensive report to Indigenous Services Canada.

There will be a Grand Prize draw for completing the Survey.
