Please see the tips below for creating an account on the MNBC Hub
Signing up for MNBChub.ca
There are 3 types of users that can be created in the hub.
- Citizen – this user is for MNBC Citizens that already have a Citizenship Number
- Have applied – this user is for applicants who have started the application, but are still in the process and have not received a result
- About to apply - this user is for applicants who have never applied for MNBC Citizenship.
Troubleshooting Signing up for MNBChub.ca
When signing up as a citizen or have applied, it is important that the information entered matches the information MNBC has on record. These include:
- Legal first, middle, and last names – For Citizens, this must match your citizenship card. If you have applied, this must match your birth certificate or change of name certificate.
- Email address – this must match the email address they gave Citizenship
- Birthdate
- City of Birth - Your city of birth must match your birth certificate. It should not include the province.
- Citizenship number – required for Citizens only
If someone is encountering an issue signing in, it is often due to one or more of these items not matching what MNBC has on record. If they are still unable to sign up, please request they reach out to Citizenship at citizenship@mnbc.ca or 1-800-940-1150.
Archived applications
If an applicant signs into the Hub and it shows their application has been achieved, they will need to reach out to citizenship@mnbc.ca to request the application be unarchived.
Note
We have been finding is sometimes people will choose their month and day but not the year when signing up. This makes the system think they are not yet born or an infant. This will give them an error message letting them know they need to be over 19 or older, check the year if you are seeing this message.
