The Ministry of Youth is happy to announce the next cultural presenter for an upcoming event “Ask The Elders”

This event will provide the opportunity for youth to connect with Elders, hear stories from cultural presenters, and connect with our culture. Please join us in welcoming Kim Hodgson who will share her traditional cultural knowledge during our two-day event on November 19th and 20th.

Kim Hodgson is a proud Métis Nation BC Citizen and a descendant of the Red River Settlement and Hodgson, Manitoba. She has extensive past experience as an educator and as a community leader of MNBC. She is passionate about Métis culture, connecting to the land and sharing Métis traditional knowledge. Kim is grateful to live in Vernon on the traditional unceded lands of the Syilx/Okanagan People and home of the Vernon & District Métis Association.
