National Lifeguard Training (Pool)

Overall Outcome
The National Lifeguard Pool Training program is broken down into four phases (approximately 100 hours total). Certification will allow for great employment opportunities to work in any pool. Learn how to keep people safe through accident prevention, public education and rescue response.

Funding will be provided by MNBC' STEPS and available at the nearest training facility to you. It will be your responsibility to collaborate with our STEPS staff to determine consecutive dates in your community for completion of the 4 phases. Days and times will vary based on availability in your community. 

Additional Information
Training Phases include: Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Standard First-Aid & CPR-C and National Lifeguard Pool Courses. Requirements will vary based on the course. More info available in course breakdown.
