Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) would like to thank Melanie Mark for her significant contributions as the Minister for Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport.
As MLA Mark steps down from her ministerial role, we would like to acknowledge the important work we have done together to support Métis people across the province. Being the only Indigenous cabinet minister, Melanie Mark was a significant voice at the cabinet table, and a strong advocate for Indigenous culture.
