On Thursday, February 3, MNBC’s Métis Nation Governing Assembly met to deal with three pressing resolutions:
A resolution endorsed by multiple Chartered Community Presidents (Resolution A) was added to the agenda preceding Resolutions 1-3.
- Resolution A – VP By-Election was approved as presented.
- Resolution 1 – Chief Electoral Officer was approved with amendments.
- Resolution 2 – Election Date was approved with amendments, and the MNGA voted to hold the by-election on April 27, 2022.
- Resolution 3 – Campaign Financing was approved as amended.
