MNBC Participates in a Trilateral Meeting with Canada, the Province of British Columbia and Indigenous Leaders



 Métis Nation BC participated in a trilateral meeting with Canada, the Province of British Columbia and Indigenous leaders on April 13th in Richmond to discuss shared priorities for federal health funding. Key topics were primary care, rural and remote care, cultural safety, and mental health and addictions. MNBC participants included: Dr. Kate Elliot, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Chair of Métis Women BC; Colette Trudeau, CEO; Patrick Harriott, Minister of Culture, Heritage and Language, and Minister of Digital Governance; Louis De Jaeger, Minister of Health; and Tanya Davoren, Executive Director of Health, Mental Health and Harm Reduction, and Elders and Veterans. Federal and Provincial participants included Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services (Canada) and Adrian Dix, Minister of Health (B.C.).
