MNBC’s Ministry of Education and STEPS are hosting Early Childhood Education information sessions on Thursday July 7th, 2022!
“Pathways to Métis Early Childhood Education” is an information session for Métis individuals who are curious about and/or interested in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. The sessions will include information on funding available for Métis citizens, and special guest presenters from Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC), Vancouver Island University, Capilano University, and the Early Childhood Pedagogy Network (ECPN).
MNBC is committed to the continued creation of early learning and child care spaces across the province and recognizes the need for additional Early Childhood Educators. As a result, we want to support and encourage Métis individuals to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education. As an Early Childhood Educator, you would contribute to providing children with the consistent, quality early learning and child care needed for the strength and future of the Métis people.
