Kanata Day 2021

This Canada Day, MNBC's Cabinet is reflecting on what it means to be Métis on this land.
It means being descended from a rich history that has played large roles in the creation of Canada.
Standing to defend Indigenous rights.
Being Métis means having a long tradition of respect for the land, and using what the land gives us to nourish us, heal our bodies, and lift our spirits and well-being.
Bringing our children in care home, and securing increased funding to deliver better services for our Citizens.
What does being Métis on this land mean to you?
