A 4-day, 3-night overnight surf & camping experience in Tofino, BC in partnership with Coastal Current Adventures.
Apply now to join the Ministry of Sport & Active Living for a full weekend of playing in the waves, surf lessons, hikes, and learning about diverse coastal ecology. If you love being outdoors, camping under the stars, and spending time in the ocean, this trip is for you!

| No costs. Food, camping supplies, and all needed gear provided. *Travel costs may be reimbursed depending on individual circumstances. All travel reimbursements are subject to prior approval and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. |
Locations:
Home base will be at Surf Junction Campground near Ucluelet, B.C., where instructors will teach the fundamentals of surf skills in the Pacific Rim National Park. Apart from surfing, participants will hike through Coastal Rainforests, explore local tidepools, and learn about the species that inhabit the B.C. coastline.

Pick up will be at Departure Bay ferry terminal in Nanaimo, B.C. on Friday, June 12, 2026.
