Tracing and documenting our Métis family history is essential for preserving our Nation’s past, present, and future. Métis Culture Talks: Connecting to Heritage is a virtual workshop, presented by MNBC’s Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language and The Amelia Douglas Institute, designed to help you explore your Métis genealogy.
What to expect from this virtual workshop:
- A step-by-step introduction to the Connecting to Heritage research guide
- An overview of Métis-specific records and historical documents and how to access them
- Hands-on tips and tools for organizing and preserving your family history
This workshop is limited to 50 people, and a waitlist will be created for additional registrants.
