Maarsii (thank you) for your interest in nominating an outstanding individual for a Nation Builders Award. You do not need to be a MNBC Citizen to nominate someone for this award.
This Award promotes the recognition of Métis Nation British Columbia Citizens across all regions who have demonstrated significant contributions in volunteerism, community-building, and profile raising of Métis people in B.C. Award recipients are recognized at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and receive an engraved plaque.
Please familiarize yourself with the eligibility criteria on the next page. Note that all nominations are confidential: we ask that you keep your intention to nominate a Citizen private. If the nominee is not selected, their profile will be kept for future consideration for a period of 3 years.
The form has an option to attach any relevant supporting materials such as letters of support, photos, other awards received etc. These are optional but may help strengthen the nominee's profile. We recommend collecting these items before beginning to fill out the form.
