Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) will be hosting an information session in conjunction with the Indigenous Student Recruitment Initiative at AAFC through the University of British Columbia. This is a session for Indigenous students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.

Eligible students have to be currently enrolled full time in school (as defined by their educational institution), and be returning to school full time in the fall. There is no age limit as long as the student status is met, and the minimum age is the legal working age of the province.

What will be covered in the info session? Overview of AAFC, detailed information on what supports are available specifically to Indigenous students as well as tips on applying to the Federal Student Work Experience Program.
