CITIZEN CALLOUT



MNBC is seeking citizen volunteers who wish to contribute their knowledge, expertise, and advice to the Board of Directors on various issues that impact MNBC. The following advisory committee currently has a vacancy:

 

ENVIRONMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (Committee Terms of Reference) – 1 VACANCY

The Environment Advisory Committee will provide advice regarding:

• The preservation and enhancement of land, forests, and waters in British Columbia;

• The environmental impacts of potential or actual outcome of land development;

• Various policies, positions, and frameworks relating to environmental protection, including government policies, regulations and legislation, and other relevant documents on behalf of the Métis Nation Board of Directors and its members; and

• Métis traditional knowledge (MTK) policies and the use of MTK.
