About the Program
EMTAP provides pre-approved funding and reimbursement to eligible Métis Citizens for travel to essential medical appointments, procedures, specialists, and other necessary health services not available in their local area.
This pilot program is specifically designed to assist low-income Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC) Citizens who encounter financial barriers in accessing critical medical care outside their community.
How to Apply
Métis Citizens can apply online through our website or by reaching out to a Regional Health Coordinator. Please ensure that you see the checklist below for the required documents.
