Hunting has always been an important part of Métis life—providing food, supporting families, and connecting people to the land. Métis Culture Talks: An Introduction to Hunting in BC is a virtual workshop hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language and The Amelia Douglas Institute, that explores how harvesting practices are being carried forward, adapted, and shared by Métis hunters across the province and what it means to be a Métis hunter today.
