I've been working on the oil patch in Alberta for 5 years, when things got slow I needed a change. I was missing my kids growing up and it was a strain on the family being away from home for a month at a time.
I decided to look for work closer to home and was interested in becoming an electrician. I found a job as an apprentice close to home. As a first year apprentice it was a tough first year supporting my family on a first years wage and really couldn't afford to go to school. My parents suggested contacting MNBC to apply for funding. To my surprise I was accepted to receive funding for school. MNBC made it possible for me to further my career as an electrician. It is not cheap to go to school these days and I wouldn't of been able to do it without their help, thanks, MNBC.
