Laurie Todd's Bio

Teaching, living and playing on the unceded,  ancestorial grounds of the Lheidli T'enneh people Prince George, BC. My father was born and raised in northern Saskatchewan and was part of a large Metis family. His sisters, my aunties, have inspired me to learn more about my Metis roots and become involved in our community. I am currently the region 5 Women's Representative.

In my spare time, I am an artist who works with beads, leather, enamels, silver and copper to create things that make me smile.

I feel very passionately about those who as less fortunate than I am. If I could, I would end homelessness and build shelters with access to alcohol and drug treatment around the country.
