Cheryl Dodman (nee Chartrand) is a Metis Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Auntie, Sister and Friend. Born at Vulcan, AB the daughter of Boyd and Myrna Chartrand Cheryl's ancestral Metis Community was Willow Bunch, SK. Many of her family names are, Lacerte, Oulette, Vandal, Capalette, Cardinal and Martin. Brelund, DuBoishue, Belley, Wells, Montour, Grant. Whitford, Gladeu, Ross, Lamaitre, Valcourt, Cadotte, Maznak-Kamikok.
Cheryl is proud to represent her Community as President of Kelowna Metis Association and staff member of Kelowna Metis Association. As the Regional Women's Representative for Region 3 Cheryl works to bring her Regional women and LGBTQ2S plus people's voice to the attention of our MNBC Board along with our Nation Metis Women's organization LFMO.
