Pink Shirt Day 2021 – Lift Each Other Up!

PINK SHIRT DAY is February 24th, 2021

Lift Each Other Up!

Every year on February 24th, Pink Shirt Day brings awareness to the presence of bullying in our workplaces, schools, homes and online. This day also provides ongoing knowledge and understanding of the impacts it has had on the survivors of bullying and their families. This year’s theme is Lift Each Other Up.

Bullying comes in many forms, such as physical, emotional, social and relational. Bullying can also turn into harassment when behaviours shift to focus on treating people differently according to their race, age, gender identity, religion and much more.

During these unprecedented times, we focus on the importance of raising awareness of this complicated and challenging issue that affects 1 in 5 children and many adults. We know that all types of aggression, including bullying, can lead to poor emotional, physical, and mental health. We hope to lift each other up by spreading awareness and promoting safe and healthy relationships in our workplaces, homes, schools, and online settings.
