National Indigenous History Month

June is the start of National Indigenous History Month, a month to commemorate and recognize the history, heritage and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.

MNBC is inviting our Citizens and Métis peoples across B.C. to share their stories about their heritage. The theme is, “Proud to be Métis” and we are hoping to share unique perspectives from every corner in this province. What makes you proud to be Métis? Submissions will be entered into a random draw at the end of the month for fun prizes!

Email communications@mnbc.ca with your submission!
