ELECTORAL ACT COMMITTEE
MNBC is seeking Citizens to serve on the Electoral Act Committee. This Committee will will review the MNBC Electoral Act, and any other pertinent MNBC legislation regarding elections, to ensure that the legislation is up to date, reflects current realities of MNBC Provincial Elections, and that the legislated rules are fair to both candidates for office and for Citizen electors wishing to vote in provincial elections.
The Committee will recommend legislative changes (if any) to the MNGA for implementation.
Applicants must be MNBC Citizens currently residing in British Columbia.
- Committee members will be selected by their respective Regional Governance Councils or Provincial Committee.
Anticipated meeting frequency is monthly, 1.5-2 hours, held on weekday evenings
