At the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, Canadians and British Columbians will pause to remember and honour our veterans and armed forces members that have so nobly served our country.
Normally we would be gathering at cenotaphs around the province and country to do so in person, laying wreaths in respect to generations of Canadians who risked their own lives, to protect ours.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, we must find new and unique ways to honour their service and sacrifice, but we must never forget that many paid the ultimate price in honour to protect our liberty here in Canada.
This Remembrance, we must reflect on the courage that so many had to face war.
Lest we forget.
