Mental Illness Awareness Week Campaign – Bipolar Disorder

October 5th marks the launch Métis Nation BC’s Mental Illness Awareness Week Campaign. In support of this campaign, Métis participants have volunteered to share their stories of living with a mental illness. Today, Elle shares with us her experiences of living with bipolar II disorder. We hope that through sharing these experiences, we can work to promote understanding and reduce stigma around mental illness. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers for sharing their incredible stories, and for sharing with us all messages of hope and resilience.
