Over the coming weeks, Métis Nation BC will be reaching out to all citizens via email, text message or telephone in order to update our databases. This initiative, called Citizen Connect, is aimed at securing accurate and up-to-date information on all our citizens related to our COVID-19 responses so we can better serve them in the future.
Citizen Connect is part of our COVID-19 and Emergency Preparedness and Recovery Plans, to ensure we can better connect with citizens to determine their needs in the future.
Citizens can expect outreach to being starting December 21. When contacted, we will be asking a few questions including how you have been affected by COVID-19, for updated contact information including your current address, and what programs you would like to see for future COVID-19 or other emergency supports.
We want to connect with you, the citizens of Métis Nation BC, on how we have done so far and what you need from us in order to keep moving forward through this pandemic.
