Call for Métis Artists

RaceRocks 3D Inc. (RaceRocks) requests proposals from Métis artists for a mural opportunity that will serve as the centrepiece at the RaceRocks head office, located on the unceded Coast Salish Territory of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ Nations.

The goal of this mural is for the selected artist to weave Métis culture into a visual narrative, sharing the story of RaceRocks past, present and future threading together the art of technology and storytelling.

RaceRocks is a Canadian, Indigenous, female-owned, immersive training technology company, founded by Anita Pawluk in 2010. With 25% Métis ancestry, Anita embraces her Indigeneity and is weaving the intrinsic values of her Indigenous culture into RaceRocks’ foundation. Recently becoming a Certified Aboriginal Business, RaceRocks, under Anita’s leadership, continues to focus on building a culture that celebrates diversity and embraces people’s different heritages and backgrounds.
