In Canada, as of November 14, 2019, there are eight confirmed or probable cases of severe lung illness related to vaping:
3 confirmed cases in Quebec, 5 probable cases in New Brunswick (2) and British Columbia (3)

23% of students in grade 7-12 have tried vaping.
15% of Canadians have tried a vaping product. Youth (15 to 19 years) and young adults (20 to 24 years) have the highest rates of trying vaping.
This compares to adults 25 years and older.
53% of all students thought it would be "fairly easy" or "very easy" to get a vaping product such as e-cigarettes if they wanted one.
