Team BC making our province proud!

On May 3rd, 2018, in Delta BC, Métis Nation British Columbia’s Ministry of Youth Program and Policy Analyst, Cassandra Dorgelo brought greetings on behalf of Minister of Sport Michael Dumont, and was there to wish all hockey players the best of luck in representing Team BC on their way to the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships in Membertou, Nova Scotia for May 6th – 12th.

The Métis athletes that were chosen to represent Team BC this year were:

Region 1, Vancouver Island:

Aaron Trotter, Goaltender – Victoria, David Porter, Forward – Port Alberni, Hunter Livingston, Defense – Ladysmith, Jada Livingston, Defense – Ladysmith and Kamryn Grooms, Defense – Ladysmith

Region 2, Lower Mainland:

Charlotte Stanwood, Forward – West Vancouver, Colton Cameron, Defense – Surrey

Region 3, Thompson / Okanagan:

Alex Erichuk, Defense – Knutsford, Breckin Erichuk, Forward – Kamloops, Brendan Mucha, Defense – Kamloops, Carter McLellan, Centre – Kamloops, Georgia McLellan, Defense – Kamloops, Rhys Lepine, Defense - Barriere

Region 4, Kootenays:

Wasyn Rice, Defense - Invermere

Region 5, North Central:

Cailen Saharchuk, Forward – Fort St. James, Camryn Scully, Centre – Prince George, Corey Cunningham, Forward – Prince George, Sarah Jarvis, Defense – Quesnel, Tessa Sturgeon, Goaltender – Prince George
