Another Métis Community is about to join the 37 existing MNBC Chartered Métis Communities in British Columbia.

Nearly two dozen Métis Citizens and Community members attended the founding meeting to launch the Vermillion Forks Métis Association in Princeton on February 22nd, 2018.

MNBC President Clara Morin Dal Col, Regional Director Daniel Pitman and MNBC CEO Dale Drown attended the historic launch of the new Community whose boundaries will extend eastward to Hedley, and as far west as East Gate on the Hope Princeton Highway.

The new President is Trudi Turner who will lead the 8 member Board of Directors. A big welcome to the new Community.

A resolution proposing their MNBC Governance Charter will be submitted at the 2018 MNGA.
